LUZON HEIGHTS (5.30 Southwell, nap)
William Knight’s youngster has shown plenty of promise including when a close-up fourth on handicap debut at Haydock last time out. This son of Pinatubo took a fair step forward there and shapes as though moving up to a mile will be ideal.
MASTER VINTNER (1.45 Lingfield, nb)
Was a convincing winner on his first start for Ralph Beckett at Goodwood last time. That built on his Irish debut for former connections and he wasn’t stopping at the end of 1m2f. This longer trip should bring more improvement and he looks hard to fault.
IRONWILL (2.38 Beverley, treble)
Got off the mark with a bit up his sleeve at Brighton last time. He showed plenty of pace over six furlongs and his stamina will be an asset this minimum trip in testing ground.
AOIFE’S THUNDER (8.30 Southwell, Lucky 15)
She enjoyed returning to the all-weather when going close at Chelmsford last time. She is more than capable of winning off this mark and won’t mind going up in distance.
