Travel magazine turns attention to central Oregon town where the ‘cosmos feel closer than ever’

One of Oregon’s picturesque small towns has caught the attention of a popular travel magazine.

Last week, Travel + Leisure published an “insider’s guide to Sunriver” — a central Oregon community about 15 miles south of Bend. An outdoor lover’s paradise, the vacation town is beloved for its expansive bike trails and water activities, though it’s also attracted attention as a dazzling destination for hopeful stargazers.
