Royal Caribbean is embarking on a bold new chapter in 2026 with the extensive refurbishment of three of its signature ships—Ovation of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, and Liberty of the Seas. As part of the Royal Amplified program, these upgrades are designed to enhance the cruise experience for guests, offering a range of new features and exciting changes throughout the vessels. These renovations follow the successful transformation of Allure of the Seas and promise to set the bar even higher for Royal Caribbean’s fleet.
In addition to the ship updates, Royal Caribbean is expanding its destination offerings. Over the next few years, the cruise line will introduce four new experiences, with the debut of Perfect Day Mexico in 2027 being one of the most highly anticipated. This new addition will further diversify the cruise line’s collection of unique and exciting ports of call, ensuring that Royal Caribbean continues to offer unforgettable vacation experiences to travelers.

Furthermore, the Ovation will introduce the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, a vibrant and fun spot for guests to enjoy cocktails and tropical drinks.
Entertainment aboard the Ovation will be equally thrilling, with the addition of Sound Cellar, a lively venue for dancing and enjoying live music. The expanded Casino Royale will offer guests more gaming options, enhancing the onboard excitement. For those seeking adventure, the Ripcord by iFly skydiving simulator will provide a thrilling experience, while the SeaPlex—the largest indoor activity space at sea—will offer a wide variety of fun activities for all ages. Starting in spring 2026, Ovation of the Seas will embark on seven- to thirteen-night Alaskan voyages, providing guests with the opportunity to witness Alaska’s awe-inspiring natural beauty and diverse wildlife.

Additionally, the adults-only Solarium will receive a redesign, offering a tranquil oasis for those looking to relax and recharge.
Dining aboard the Harmony will be equally impressive, with over 20 dining venues available for guests to choose from. New offerings include Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, where guests can catch live sports games while snacking on bar food, and El Loco Fresh, serving flavorful Mexican cuisine.
