London travel news LIVE: Good service on all lines – London Evening Standard

New Cross Road is closed off following a gas leak that took place on Wednesday evening.
It is said that 100 people have been evacuated and around 3am people were still not allowed to return to their homes. It is not known if this is still the case.
A number of bus routes have been diverted as a result and congestion has formed across Blackheath, and down Lewisham Road.

There are currently no reports of injuries and emergency crews are still said to be in the area.
Four bus routes are on diversion while New Cross Road is closed off:
SGN reports that it is assisting impacted customers in collaboration with the police, council and fire department.
Those evacuated are still thought to have had no entries into their homes until the problem is properly addressed.
Residents in the New Cross Road area were evacuated just after 10pm.
According to the AA, there are delays of eight minutes on A2 Deptford Broadway Westbound between Angerstein Lane and A2209 Deptford Church Street.
Gas supplier SGN states 60 properties were evacuated.
The London Fire Brigade revealed that around 100 people were evacuated.
Last night it revealed: “Firefighters are responding to a suspected gas leak on New Cross Road.
“Around 100 people have been evacuated from the immediate area as a precaution and road closures are in place.
“Disruption is expected to last through the night. Please avoid the area as crews respond.”
There have been no new updates from the London Fire Brigade.
The gas leak on New Cross Road has blocked access between Florence Road and Deptford Bridge.
There is east access from Deptford High Street, but no access westbound past Deptford Bridge.
There are serious delays being reported on the A12 due to the refurbishment of Gallows Corner Flyover. Eastbound traffic is slow along Ardleigh Green Road. Westbound traffic is slow along Squirrels Heath Road.
Expect delays in the area and select a different route if you’re in a rush.
A fault with the signalling system between Gatwick Airport and Haywards Heath some lines are currently closed.
As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 9am.
