Seats that lie flat. A 17″ TV. Laptop storage. Restaurant-quality meals. An open bar. JetBlue is bringing its premium Mint experience to Orlando for the first time, allowing Floridians to fly to Vegas in style.
Starting in October, the New York based airline is launching two daily flights between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Las Vegas (LAS) for the winter travel season. One of those trips will continue year-round, the airline said in a release.
To celebrate the announcement — and to honor JetBlue’s 25 years of service to Orlando this month —the airline is offering limited-time introductory one-way fares starting at $599 in Mint and $109 for basic flights outside of Mint, available on jetblue.com.
“Orlando has always been an important city to JetBlue, and we’re excited to debut Mint service in this market with flights to Las Vegas,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships. “As we celebrate 25 years in Orlando, this marks an exciting new chapter for us and our Central Florida customers, who can now enjoy lie-flat seats, curated restaurant-style dining and premium benefits on a new leisure route, just in time for the winter travel season.”
The announcement comes as JetBlue says its pulling out of Miami International Airport and canceling some underperforming routes to focus more on the rest.
For a quarter of a century, JetBlue has serviced the central Florida airport. It operates more than 60 daily departures to 27 destinations, the company said, and JetBlue maintains a training center at its Orlando Support Campus.
The airline has a strong presence at Orlando, Fort Lauderdale International Airport and West Palm Beach. JetBlue recently partnered with the South-Florida-Orlando train service Brightline to let travelers book both a plane and train trip directly on JetBlue’s website.
JetBlue will be starting a new route to and from Vegas twice daily, starting Oct. 30 and running through March 28, 2026. After that, a once-daily flight will continue year-round.
Debuted in 2014, Mint is JetBlue’s top of the line premium service for travelers who want to enjoy their flights in comfort. It features amenities such as:
