Houston is celebrating Independence Day with one of the busiest weekends of the summer — fireworks over the skyline, international soccer, and one of the most legendary concert lineups of the season.
From July 4 through July 6, the Bayou City is buzzing with options.

The biggest match in North American soccer takes place in Houston this weekend.
The United States and Mexico face off in the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final at NRG Stadium.
Expect a sold-out crowd, national anthems, and a raucous stadium atmosphere.

This beloved tradition features the Houston Symphony performing patriotic classics on the outdoor stage at Miller Outdoor Theatre.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the show under the stars, followed by fireworks above Hermann Park.
Gates open at 6:30 PM. The Woodlands Show Chorus performs at 7:00 PM, followed by the Houston Symphony at 8:00 PM.
