24 hours in Los Angeles: Museums, parks, Pinoy food trip, and more – GMA Network

Los Angeles is called the City of Angels for a reason. It has a colorful culture, with spaces ranging from famous farmer’s markets to aesthetic museums.
If you only have a few hours in a trip, or want to squeeze in as many activities as possible, check out these spots as recommended by Kapuso host Lyn Ching.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is a museum often seen on social media. It has a huge collection of pieces that reflects its multiculturalism.
Outside the museum is the Urban Lights installation by Chris Burden, or the trending space with restored lamp posts.
Griffith Observatory
Science junkies need to pay a visit to the Griffith Observatory, which is known for its astronomy sights including Zeiss refracting scope, the most viewed telescope in the world.
Santa Monica Pier
The Santa Monica Pier is popular for being a hotspot with an amusement park, shops, and restaurants by the beach.
Beverly Hills Park
The Beverly Hills Park is home to the Beverly Hills Sign. It is a popular photo spot displayed above the Lily Pond.
The place also houses the sculpture of The Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr and a giant silver hand doing a peace sign.
Dollar Hits
If you’re already missing Filipino food, Dollar Hits is known for their street food like isaw, betamax, balut, and iskrambol. They also have meals like pancit and sisig.
To add to the Filipino flavor, Dollar Hits also hosts karaoke nights.
Farmers Market
