(Atlanta News First) – Two Georgia colleges were recognized by a national list for having some of the best looking campuses in the United States.
Berry College in Mount Berry and the University of Georgia were listed as two of the “30 Most Beautiful Campuses in the U.S.,” by website Travel and Leisure.
Berry College is listed as No. 2 on the list. According to Travel and Leisure, the college’s campus is the nation’s largest contiguous college campus, with more than 27,000 acres of fields, lakes, forests and mountains.
Coming in at No. 27, UGA’s North Campus in Athens is recognized as “a picturesque landscape studded with historical buildings,” the website said.
North Campus includes the university’s Founders Memorial Garden, which has fountains and more than 300 plant species, according to the list.
